Papsmear were an early thrash metal band of mid-’80s releasing seminal recordings, and getting rave reviews in the metal press, a spot on New Renaissance’s Speed Metal Hell comp & shows with DRI, Dark Angel, Hirax, COC, MDC and more. The Vegas band wound up falling apart with vocalist Tony Costanza moving to SF trading the mic for sticks and joining Machine Head later Crisis and Crowbar
